Job Overview
As a Security Guard, your main responsibility is to protect the company’s premises, staff, and assets. You’ll patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, respond to emergencies, and maintain a visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate activity.
You will also need to be quick-thinking, calm under pressure, and physically prepared for emergencies such as medical incidents or security threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.
- Patrol buildings and perimeter regularly or randomly.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access points.
- Respond promptly to suspicious activity or emergency situations.
- Act within the law to apprehend intruders or assist in emergencies.
- Record incidents, suspicious activities, and any irregularities.
- Operate emergency and security equipment when required.
